Let’s have some FUN and to quote, Hobbs the boss, if you don’t like it, we’re happy to beat that ass like a Cherokee drum.Apparently The Rock didn't respond to that Instagram comment, so Tyrese took to his own Instagram to address it, saying he wants Dwayne to do the film, but only after the next "Fast" film is released. the more opportunities we can create the better for the fans. I want to use my spinoff platform to create new characters that fans will ultimately love to have fun with in multiple chapters and platforms. I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool. Huge shout to my brother, Jason Statham for the trust and wanting to create and deliver something fresh and bad ass for the fans. Thank you UNIVERSAL STUDIOS for being tremendous partners who see the big picture and for coming to us years ago with this spinoff idea. Pumped to expand and build out the FAST & FURIOUS universe in a cool, exciting way with our writer/producer Chris Morgan, producer Hiram Garcia and lead producer and my bigger twin, Neal Moritz. #HOBBS #SevenBucksProds #NewOpportunities #CandyAssesNeedNotApplyĭaddy’s gotta go back to work ~ Hobbs. After thanking his production company, a collection of producers, and Universal Studios for seeing dollar signs in their eyes about the aforementioned Hobbs/Shaw spinoff, The Rock wrote, “I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.” He signed off with, “#CandyAssesNeedNotApply.”
DWAYNE JOHNSON TYRESE NEW ALBUM UPDATE
The latest update comes from - where else? - Instagram. The feud between The Fast and the Furious co-stars/family members Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson is our greatest Shakespearean drama: you have one actor, who’s decidedly not a candy ass, starring in a spinoff of the shiny-cars-go-fast franchise, and you have another one actor who’s super pissed that The Rock is “making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU.” So, remember in Furious 7 when Hobbs flexed out of his cast and it exploded? This is like that, except it’s Tyrese’s head that is exploding.
